He is wearing all 12 month clothes. His 12 month PJs are still tight, but he's not quite ready for 18 month ones yet. He is still wearing size 3 diapers.

Sleep
He is still sleeping through the night. He goes to bed between 6:30 and 7:00 still, and lately he has even been sleeping until 6:00. It's sad that 6:00 is considered sleeping-in these days, but I'll take it! His bedtime routine is about the same. We bathe him, give him a bottle, and then put him down. He usually falls asleep while drinking the bottle, but if he doesn't he falls asleep as soon as he is in the crib.
He is still taking 2 naps per day. At home his naps are long. The first nap will be anywhere between an hour or 2. The second one varies, but is usually around an hour. His naps at daycare are starting to get pretty bad. He is only taking one nap a day, and it is only about 30 minutes long. The good news is that he is happy, and that is all that matters to me!
Eating
I am still exclusively pumping and giving him a bottle. He has about 4 bottles a day. When we went for his 9 month appointment she told us that he didn't need more than 32oz of milk a day....we he was still getting 5 8oz bottles at that time. We tried to cut one of the bottles out, but he was NOT happy about that. As the month went on, he actually cut one of the bottles out on his own!
He is still eating his solids for breakfast, lunch, dinner and now an afternoon snack. He is only eating finger foods now, no more baby foods. He loves to feed himself, which makes it nice for us because we can put him the in the highchair and just let him eat. For breakfast he has Cherrios and some fruit, usually a banana. His favorite foods are peas, carrots, chicken, corn and ALL fruits! When he sees us bring the fruit he gets so excited and starts grunting.
He was a little constipated earlier in the month after trying all of the new foods. Luckily we gave him one suppository and it cleared up very quickly. Since then things have been much better. This little guy loves to eat!

Favorite Activities/Milestones
1. He has 2 more teeth on top that are poking through. He now has a total of teeth!
2. He loves shaking his head "no". When I am holding him and sometime tries to take him, he shakes his head "no" one time and just looks at them. It's hilarious.
3.Miles had his first accident at daycare. I went to pick him up one day and his poor little face was black and blue! He looked awful. They said he was trying to walk from the chair to the bookshelf, and when he let go of the chair he fell face first into the bookshelf. Luckily it cleared up pretty quickly. I have a feeling this will not be his last black eye.
4. He still LOVES Sage! When he sees her he starts laughing and crawls right over to her. We have to be careful because he likes to bite her and pull her hair.
5. Speaking of biting, this kid bites EVERYTHING and everyone! I know it is because he is teething, but it hurts when he gets ahold of you!
6. He went to Maverick's birthday party this month! Maverick is in Miles' class at daycare, and he turned one this month. Miles had so much fun checking out all the new toys and new people.
7. He likes to sit on his knees and bounce up and down.
8. I have been giving him baths without his bath chair. Now he just sits up and splashes in the water. I love watching him splash, but it is hard to bathe him now! The past few nights, Emory has wanted to take a bath with him. They have so much fun splashing around with each other.
9. Emory and Miles has a wrestling match in the pack-n-play. Miles would crawl all over her, and they were both cracking up! The one time Emory body slammed him! Although they both thought it was hilarious, I had to remind her that he was still just a little baby.
10. One morning while Emory was still asleep and Miles was eating breakfast in his highchair, I decided to turn on some music. I started dancing around the kitchen, and Miles loved it! Next thing I knew we was bouncing up and down, trying to dance in his highchair!
11. Miles loves to imitate Martin. Martin makes a cackling laughing sound, and now Miles does too! As soon as he hears Martin do it, he does it right back. He will also copy Emory. When she yells he will yell too.
12. We let him swim in the pool this month, and he loved it. He would just take his hand and slam it in the water, making huge splashes. He thought it was hilarious.
Month 10
In 2 more months he will be a year old! Time is flying by, and my little man isn't so little anymore. He is still the sweetest little baby in the world. but he is starting to get into everything! He wants to be crawling or standing all the time. He is also tying to put everything in his mouth!
This summer has been wonderful so far, and Miles loves being outside!
