March 2015

Spring is finally here! March started off with ice and snow and ended with beautiful spring weather!

1. Emory has been walking around the house saying "Helllllooooo Ladies". Miles had a shirt that said this, and then Emory started saying it. The best part is that when she says it her voice gets really deep. It makes us laugh every time.

2. Emory is scared of worms. Martin took her on a walk and she made him carry her the entire time, because she was scared of the worms on the ground. She would stand on the ground, shake, and cry because of the worms.

3. She has been throwing some epic fits this month. When she doesn't want to do something, or when we tell her no she loses it!!! She screams and cries hysterically. We have to put her in timeout multiple times a day. She is VERY strong willed.

4. Lately she only wants mommy. She does not want Martin to bathe her, put her down for bed, or really do anything with her. She is all about Mommy.

5. She is obsessed with school buses! Every time she sees one she screams, "look mommy!!! School bus!!!".

6.While Kathy was here this month, her sister Denise came into town also. They took Emory to the Loveless Cafe for breakfast. They said she had a great time.

7. Emory got to meet Alice, the Mad Hatter, and the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. She is obsessed with that movie, and they had a tea party at the Franklin Rec Center so I couldn't wait to take her. She was a little shy at first, and she did NOT like the rabbit. She did like Alice, and took a few pictures with her and even gave her a hug. She kept saying "I no like Mr. Rabbit". She was able to make her own Mad Hatter hat, and take lots of pictures. She had a great time.

8. Emory got to meet my Aunt Denise this month as well. My cousin, Cameron, had a band competition in Kentucky and they stopped in Nashville to practice. We got to visit for a few minutes and listen to the band play. Emory was excited to hear the music and run around the gym. She was most excited to see the big charter bus and the truck that carried the equipment.

9. We also went to our friends, The Kuo's, for dinner. Emory had a great time playing with Pepper.
10. We celebrated Martin and Dustin's birthdays this month. Emory LOVED blowing out the candles and opening the presents. I bought Martin and tumbler cup for his birthday and told Emory it was from her. I told Kathy that I got it so Martin would stop using my cup. When he opened the present Emory said "Daddy no more use Mommy's cup". She hears everything!!!

March was a long month, mostly because of the cold weather, but we made the best of it. Warm weather is coming, and we are very ready to play outside. Towards the end of the month it started to warm up and Emory wanted to be outside all the time. She loves playing in her playhouse, jumping in her trampoline, and riding her tricycle.
